Xace targets Ontario license holders with MSB license in Canada

Company news

Gaming-focused banking and payment provider announces its launch in Canada as a Money Services Business (MSB).

Xace.ca recently registered with the Canadian regulator, Fintrac (the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada), which allows Xace to directly target the Canadian gaming sector alongside the recent launch of the Ontario Gaming License.

Keen to expand both its product offering in Canada and scale the existing currency offering to provide Canadian dollars (CAD), Xace now has one of the broadest account options in igaming. The expansion to North America is another step forward for the rapidly growing Xace brand, which currently counts some of the world’s biggest gaming firms among its customers.

The company has continued to grow as an alternative to traditional high street banks, providing named accounts that are ideal for the gaming industry.

Available immediately, customers operating in Canada, or with Canadian dollars, can receive, pay with and convert CAD into more than eight alternative currencies including GBP, EUR and USD to assist with facilitating their global gaming operations alongside the Ontario Gaming License.

Commenting on the news, David Hodkinson, CEO of Xace, said: “Pushing boundaries and being at the forefront of global gaming payments is the main goal of Xace. Being able to now serve the Canadian gaming market, especially at the time of the Ontario Gaming License, was important and we are delighted to be expanding in this way.”

CBO Andria Evripidou added: “I am hugely proud to be launching our services and accounts in Canada. With all the recent developments in the financial and gaming ecosystem, Canada became an unmissable opportunity for Xace. I look forward to welcoming Canadian customers to our platform.”
