Games provider Hacksaw Gaming has unveiled plans to pursue “significant expansion” in the US after securing a provisional license in West Virginia.
The new license, its first in the US, will enable Hacksaw to roll out its content with approved operators in the state’s regulated market.
The provider said it plans to launch in the country via its partnership with Light & Wonder in the first quarter of next year.
Hacksaw first moved into North America earlier in the year when it was awarded a license in the Canadian province of Ontario in May.
The provider has a presence in over 18 regulated markets around the world, including the Isle of Man where it also secured approval earlier this year.
“This latest expansion comes after our license approvals in Romania and the Isle of Man earlier in 2022, so we’re finishing the year just as strongly as we started it,” Hacksaw chief executive Marcus Cordes said.
“Being granted this license is testimony to the quality of our games portfolio and shows just how robust and engaging our content is.”
