Tipico toasts to new partnership with Ohio brewery

Sportsbook operator Tipico has entered into an exclusive partnership with the Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Under the arrangement, the operator and the brewery will develop a new ‘Tipico Sports Deck’ in the Rhinegeist Taproom, offering a special experience to sports fans in Cincinnati.

Due for completion early this year, the Tipico Sports Deck will feature nine televisions for watching sporting events, as well as a series of sports-themed activations and deck-style seating for visitors.

Tipico will also sponsor a series of gameday events during 2023 in the 25,000sq ft taproom including Super Bowl Sunday, NCAA March Madness, MLB Opening Day and the Kentucky Derby.

In addition, Tipico and Rhinegeist will use continued experiential programming to widen brand recognition amongst local communities and drive first-time deposits to the Tipico mobile sportsbook app.

“This exhilarating new collaboration with Rhinegeist will allow our Ohio team to transform the gameday experience and harness the unwavering allegiance of the Cincinnati sports fan base,” Tipico chief commercial officer David Paschkes said.

“Rhinegeist has rapidly established itself as a staple of the Cincinnati community and will be an instrumental partner in helping us establish hyperlocal affinity and a level of authenticity unmatched by competitors.”

Rhinegeist director of strategic partnerships, Marissa Beck, added: “We couldn’t be more excited to build a partnership with Tipico, a trusted name in sports betting. The partnership comes after Ohio opened its legal sports betting market earlier this month, with Tipico one of the first brands to go live in the state.

Tipico also recently extended its reach in the US by rolling out its sports betting offering in Iowa.
