Supplier Chalkline Sports today announced an expansion of its betting platform, which will see it include lottery and casino games going forward.
Lotto-style sports games, fixed odds lottery, real-money jackpot games, social casino sports, and virtual currency games are all expected to be live by the end of the second quarter of 2021.
The rebrand, which will see the company change its name to Chalkine, is part of the supplier’s strategy to consolidate its place in an emerging North American market – an area where it has been establishing itself since 2019.
Chalkline chief executive Daniel Kustelski (pictured) said: “Personalized and localized freeplay sports games have always been a key part of the Chalkline product suite, but there’s so much more to our platform.
“The rebrand to Chalkline represents our streamlined focus on becoming the number one B2B provider of free-play and real money games to operators and media companies in the US market.”
In addition to a wider array of products and a name change, the business also has a new logo and redesigned corporate website.
“While the brand and logo is getting a refresh, we’re still the same experienced, global team that has been working in the regulated US iGaming market for five-plus years,” Kustelski added.
“This shift at Chalkline represents the same shift that many operators are experiencing: sports betting is part of a larger iGaming suite of products.”
