Gambling.com Group has launched its third sports betting affiliate website in the US state of Virginia.
VirginiaIsForBettors features a range of content specific to Virginia, including a list of licensed sportsbooks where players can legally place sports wagers.
The site also offers information on how to place a bet, sportsbook reviews, news content on local sports teams and advice on how to avoid offshore wagering.
In addition, visitors to the site will have access to a tax resource, which they can use to calculate how much tax they will have to pay on their winnings.
VirginiaIsForBettors will join the Gambling.com and Bookies.com brands, which went live in the state earlier this year after the group secured a betting vendor license.
The regulated Virginia sports wagering market officially opened on January 21 when Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel launch its sportsbook in the state via a partnership with the Washington Football Team.
Licensed operators processed $58.9m in sports bets during the first 11 days of legal activity in the state, but adjusted gross revenue (AGR) amounted to a loss of $3.2m.
