International Game Technology (IGT) has agreed a three-year extension to its partnership with Canadian provincial lottery organisation Loto-Québec.
Under the renewed deal, which runs to September 2021, IGT will provide its INTELLIGEN video lottery central system to Loto-Québec via its IGT Canada Solutions ULC subsidiary.
The agreement also covers the provision of hotline services for INTELLIGEN, as well as advanced business intelligence, distributed game management, and proactive diagnostic modules.
In addition, IGT will supply Loto-Québec with a range of lottery instant ticket vending machines, video lottery terminals (VLTs), casino slots, interactive games, and Canadian Bingo and Poker Network.
“The INTELLIGEN central management system ensures the Lottery has full control of the complexity, security, integrity, and advanced reporting of their VLT network to optimise operations and drive growth for their business,” IGT chief operating officer for lottery, Jay Gendron, said.
The renewal comes after IGT also signed an expanded agreement with Slovakian government-owned lottery TIPOS. IGT will deliver various new lottery solutions and ongoing lottery-related services.
In addition, IGT recently extended its deal with the DC Lottery in Washington DC, US. The agreement covers game planning and marketing, research and analytics, graphics support and the production and printing of instant tickets.
