FanDuel has announced the appointment of Brian Borkowski as its new senior vice president of marketing.
Following 15 years of marketing experience, Borkowski is joining FanDuel from streaming company Hulu, where he held the roles of vice president of media and acquisition and head of subscriber acquisition.
Borkowski also previously held the role of chief marketing officer at predictive analytics startup, Verikai, and worked in several marketing leadership roles for Neilson Financial Services and Farmers Insurance.
In his new position, Borkowski will oversee media, lifecycle marketing and customer acquisition for FanDuel. He will report to FanDuel’s chief marketing officer, Mike Raffensperger.
“FanDuel is one of the country’s largest and most successful advertisers, and Brian will be a critical leader in expanding our capabilities and sophisticating our practice,” said Raffensperger.
“Brian’s success in highly competitive environments, sophisticated media strategies, and attracting customers through world-class promotions, partnerships, and propositions will be invaluable as we move forward.”
For his new position, Borkowski will be based in Los Angeles.
This appointment is the latest in several recent FanDuel personnel changes. In May, chief executive Matt King announced that he was leaving his role, with Amy Howe taking over as the new FanDuel interim CEO in July.
