IT and cloud hosting provider Internet Vikings has announced its expansion into the US market, and is now offering licensed igaming hosting services to operators in West Virginia.
The company said the launch is the beginning of its objective to provide hosting services in all US states where online gaming is permitted.
Having set up its first US-based data center in West Virginia, Internet Vikings said it next intends to expand into Michigan and Pennsylvania, followed by New Jersey, Louisiana, Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois and Virginia.
The company said in addition to its hosting services, it also offers domain name management and data and marketing solutions in the field of online brand protection.
“We are excited to start our journey into the United States. It’s a huge challenge and wonderful opportunity for us. With this expansion we want to cement our position as a leading igaming hosting provider on a global scale,” said Rickard Vikström, founder of Internet Vikings.
The launch has been spearheaded by the company’s head of US expansion, Elena Kvakova, who said: “As we were learning the ins and outs of the gambling hosting regulations and market in the USA, we noticed a few things that could be done better.
“And to us, a Swedish company, an agile approach and customer focus are at the forefront of everything we do. That is what we are trying to do in the key states right now – set up secure, reliable, cost-effective and fully-formed hosting solutions, so that the new providers that are entering the US market will be able to focus on other things.”
