Sports betting software and trading services provider Amelco is to expand its presence in the US after entering into a multi-state agreement with Continent 8 Technologies.
Under the deal, Amelco will manage its US operations through Continent 8’s network of data centres, which offer managed hosting, connectivity and cyber security services to clients.
The provider also said that this will ensure it is compliant with regulatory requirements for customer data in each state where it is active. The provider currently operates in New Jersey, Indiana, Tennessee and Colorado.
“As we continue to expand across the US, it is vital we have the infrastructure in place to allow us to remain compliant, as well as the facilities to scale up our operations rapidly,” Amelco head of business development Brandon Walker said.
“We’re confident that Continent 8 is proven to do that better than anyone else out there, and we’re looking forward to working together.”
Continent 8’s managing director for the Americas, Nick Nally, added: “Enabling our partners to achieve their goals across regulated states is something we strive to do and Amelco has impressive plans.
“We look forward to a long and successful partnership together as we support their rapid growth across new jurisdictions.”
Amelco, which was cleared to launch in Colorado last month, counts the likes of Flutter Entertainment and Fox Bet among its clients in the US market.
