Consumers in Arizona bet a total of $538.0m on sports during September, a 49.0% increase on the previous month.
The September figure was significantly higher than the $361.0m wagered in August and was also the third consecutive month of growth in the state.
Players spent $533.3m betting online during the month, though just $4.0m was wagered at retail sportsbook facilities in the state.
Consumer winnings amounted to $481.5, which meant gross revenue for September stood at $55.2m, up 52.1% from $36.3m in August.
After accounting for $24.5m in free bets and promotional credits, taxable revenue for the month reached $30.7m, which was also an increase of 10.4% from $27.8m in the previous month.
DraftKings retained its grip on top spot in the market in handle terms after it took $215.6m in online bets. FanDuel followed with $147.3m in bets, split $144.8m online and $2.5m at retail sportsbooks, then BetMGM with $80.4m in online wagers and $380,762 retail.
However, with gross revenue, including free bets and promotional credits, FanDuel came out on top with $19.7m in revenue, of which $19.3m came from online and $387,278 land-based.
DraftKings was second with $13.2m in online revenue, ahead of BetMGM with $11.1m in total revenue, split $11.0m for online and $114,422 retail.
