BetMGM, the joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, has become the latest operator to launch sports betting in Virginia.
The BetMGM mobile app will allow players to place pre-game, in-play, futures and parlay wagers on a wide range of sports and competition.
Integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program will also allow players to redeem points at MGM Resorts properties in the US, including the MGM Grand, Bellagio and ARIA in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BetMGM is now live with sports betting in 10 regulated states across the US.
“We’re ecstatic that BetMGM is one of the first mobile sports betting platforms to launch in Virginia,” BetMGM chief executive Adam Greenblatt said. “Virginians are passionate sports fans, and we’re thrilled to provide them a user-friendly sports betting experience.”
BetMGM follows FanDuel, DraftKings and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) brand BetRivers.com in launching sports betting in the state.
The Virginia Lottery has issued 26 sports betting vendor licenses to affiliates, payment providers and data suppliers.
