BetMGM scores betting deal with Tennessee Titans

News

BetMGM, the brand operated via the Roar Digital joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings, has agreed to become the official sports betting partner of National Football League (NFL) team the Tennessee Titans.

Under the agreement, BetMGM will benefit from brand visibility across a number of the Titans’ digital assets, including on video board replays inside the team’s Nissan Stadium.

BetMGM will also become the exclusive naming rights partner of the franchise’s television studio at Saint Thomas Sports Park, as well as sponsoring a new raffle that will raise funds for the Titans Foundation community initiative.

The deal represents the first official partnership between a professional sports team in Tennessee and a sports betting platform.

“The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner,” BetMGM’s chief marketing officer Matt Prevost said.

“This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”

Gil Beverly, senior vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer for the Titans, added: “BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”

The partnership comes after BetMGM last week secured a conditional license to offer online sports betting in Tennessee

BetMGM plans to roll out its mobile app in the state on November 1, when online sports betting is scheduled to launch, subject to final regulatory approval.

The Tennessee Education Lottery Sports Wagering Committee also conditionally approved licenses for DraftKings and Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel, with full certification and other applications to be considered at meetings next month.
