US casino operator Boyd Gaming has expanded its partnership with FanDuel Group to launch a new online, mobile and retail sports betting offering in the state of Illinois.
The FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook online mobile platform will enable players in the state to place bets on sports such as football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey.
Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel will also operate a retail sportsbook at Boyd’s Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria, Illinois, pending the regulatory approval of land-based wagering in the state.
“Given the tremendous success of our existing FanDuel Sportsbooks, we are confident that the FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook will quickly become Illinois sports bettors’ mobile app of choice,” Boyd’s president and chief executive Keith Smith said.
FanDuel chief executive Matt King said: “Boyd Gaming and the Par-A-Dice are perfect partners for us to bring our innovative sports-betting app and retail sportsbook experience to sports fans in Illinois.”
Since launching their partnership in mid-2018, Boyd and FanDuel have launched mobile sports betting apps in Indiana and Pennsylvania, as well as retail facilities at eight Boyd properties across five states.
Boyd and FanDuel in June also launched an online casino platform in the state of Pennsylvania.
