DraftKings launches mobile and online sportsbook in Indiana

News

Sports betting and daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has rolled out a new mobile and online sportsbook in Indiana.

The service will enable players in the US state to place wagers on professional and collegiate sporting events, with a variety of pre-match, in-play and player proposition bets available.

DraftKings customers can switch between the operator’s mobile sportsbook and fantasy apps, with the option to place bets via the DraftKings Sportsbook or on the Sportsbook.DraftKings.com website.

“DraftKings could not be more thrilled to expand our national reach as states continue to open the market for legalized sports betting,” DraftKings’ co-founder and chief revenue officer, Matt Kalish, said.

“Since our sportsbook product launched in 2018, we have made it our number one priority to provide sports fans with a responsible place to wager on a superior and technologically advanced sports-betting platform.

“With Indiana becoming the latest state to offer legalized online and mobile sports betting, we are excited to provide the top-rated sportsbook app to some of the nation’s most passionate and dedicated sports fans.”

DraftKings, which also operates sportsbook products in New Jersey and West Virginia, joins Rush Street Interactive in rolling out an online sports betting service in Indiana.

Rush Street Interactive, in partnership with the French Lick Casino Resort, was the first operator to launch its sportsbook offering in the state.

Players can register and bet instantly online or mobile, as Indiana sports betting laws do not require in-person registration at a casino or other land-based site.
