Evolution has signed a new agreement with Cordish Gaming Group, a division of real estate and entertainment business Cordish Companies, to provide players in Pennsylvania with online live casino and first-person RNG-based games via the PlayLive! site.
Under the deal, Evolution’s Philadelphia studio will be responsible for supplying the games, including gameshow-style gaming and first-person offerings, in which the player’s view is intended to imitate a real player’s view of a land-based table game. The games are expected to go live via PlayLive! in the second quarter of 2021.
Less than two months before the completion of its takeover by Evolution in December 2020, NetEnt sealed a deal to provide PlayLive! customers with access to online casino and table games.
Evolution said in its 2020 full-year financial report that the US “remains a high growth potential market”, with North America having accounted for €12.6m (£10.8m/$14.8m) of revenue in Q4 of last year – second only to the UK.

Cordish rolled out its PlayLive! site in partnership with GAN last August. The website runs alongside Cordish’s two new land-based casino properties in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
