Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel Group has completed the roll-out of its online sportsbook in Pennsylvania, after successfully completing a live test.
The offering, launched in partnership with Boyd Gaming and Valley Forge Casino Resort, has gone live offering a range of betting options such as point spreads, moneylines and parlays, among others, as well as an extensive list of in-play wagers.
The app will be promoted through an omnichannel marketing campaign, comprising talk radio partnerships, influencer and social media marketing and digital media ads. FanDuel will also run a new TV campaign to highlight that mobile betting is both available and legal in Pennsylvania.
“We’re leveraging our expertise in creating world-class fantasy and sports betting experiences to build the best online sports betting platform in the state of Pennsylvania,” FanDuel chief marketing officer Mike Raffensperger said.
“We became the number one sports betting operator in New Jersey by focusing on the customer experience and we can’t wait for sports fans in Pennsylvania to join the party.”
The launch sees FanDuel make its mobile sportsbook available in a second state after New Jersey, where it currently leads the market, generating revenue of $4.4m in June. The operator has also launched a retail sportsbook in New York State, in partnership with Tioga Downs Casino Resort.
It is the fourth mobile sportsbook to launch in Pennsylvania, after Rush Street’s BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse.com, and Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment’s Parx Casino.
