IGT extends with Colorado Lottery

News

International Game Technology (IGT) has agreed to extend its partnership with the Colorado Lottery for a further four years.

Under the deal, which runs to July 12, 2025, the IGT Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary will provide the Colorado Lottery with updated technology and software, as well as a range of support services.

IGT will supply new back office solutions and enhanced business intelligence solutions, with the aim of continuing to grow sales and providing convenience to both players and retailers.

The renewed agreement also covers the roll out of GameTouch 20, the latest self-service lottery vending machine available from IGT.

In addition, IGT will continue to provide full system support for all Colorado Lottery draw games, claims and payments.

“We look forward to enhancing our current lottery solutions and technology, and bringing added convenience for our retail partners and players through this contract extension with IGT,” Colorado Lottery senior director Tom Seaver said.

“Throughout the last five years, IGT has delivered its expertise and reliable technology to benefit all of our Lottery stakeholders and we are happy to continue to partner with them for the next several years.”

Jay Gendron, chief operating officer for North America lottery at IGT, added: “This contract extension enables IGT to continue assisting the Colorado Lottery in achieving its sales objectives, and bringing further efficiency, convenience, and innovation to retailers and players.

“We’re pleased to continue our partnership with the Lottery and help it maximize funds toward good causes in Colorado such as the environment, recreation and education.”

Earlier this year, IGT also extended deals with both the Kansas Lottery and DC Lottery, as well as with Canadian provincial lottery organisation Loto-Québec.
