International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a one-year extension to its instant ticket games and related services deal with the Iowa Lottery.
The agreement will run until December 31, 2021, with the option for the lottery to exercise three additional one-year extension options.
IGT will deliver a range of instant ticket services to the lottery including game planning and marketing, research and analytics, graphics support and also the production and printing of instant tickets.
“Since 2015, IGT’s printing business has contributed to the Iowa Lottery’s record-breaking scratch ticket sales through high-performing games including the $20 Super 20s, which is printed as IGT’s oversized Super Ticket format,” IGT chief operating officer for lottery Jay Gendron said.
“We will continue to work closely with the Lottery, delivering innovative games and unrivalled player experiences so the Lottery can reach its sales goals and maximise its contributions to good causes.”
The deal comes after IGT last week, through its IGT Global Solutions subsidiary, also agreed a contract extension with Michigan Lottery to continue providing instant ticket games and related services until December 2021.
IGT has supplied instant ticket games to the lottery since 2017, most recently launching games such as $10 Ruby Mine and $30 Ultimate Millions.
