IGT signs long-term extension to Jamaican lottery deal

News

International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a seven-year extension to its deal with Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) to continue providing lottery technology, content and ongoing services in Jamaica.

The previous agreement between IGT and SVL had been due to end in January 2026, with the extension to ensure this partnership runs until at least 2033.

IGT will continue to provide lottery products, games and services, as well as operate and maintain its central system, terminals, and communications network.

The deal also includes data centre operations and a customer contact centre, game design and development, data analytics, strategic planning and sales support.

IGT has had a relationship with SVL since 2001, when the legacy GTECH business began serving as SVL’s lottery technology and services provider.

In addition to the lottery contract, IGT provides mobile phone top-up services to SVL, and operational support for its video lottery terminal program, including field services, installations for new retailers, and marketing and sales support.

“This agreement represents the next chapter in our winning partnership, and further supports SVL for expansion, reinforcing our market leadership position and our place as an integral part of the fabric of Jamaica,” SVL executive chairman Gary Peart said.

IGT’s chief operating officer for lottery, Jay Gendron, added: “As SVL continues to offer best-in-class lottery and gaming products, this extension will sustain business momentum and player engagement, make an impact on small businesses through SVL’s expanding retailer network, and ultimately benefit all Jamaicans.”
