Land-based and online sports betting gross gaming revenue (GGR) and handle fell month-on-month in Iowa, but improved compared the same month in 2021.

The data will be updated monthly following the official release of figures from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
Combined handle for land-based and online and mobile sports betting was $215m, falling 28.8% from January 2022 but up 50.3% year-on-year.
Online and mobile sports betting contributed $195m to the total handle, with land based betting making up the remaining $20.9m.
Combined GGR decreased month-on-month by 39.8% to $8.5m, and rose 11.4% from February 2021. Online and mobile sports betting made up $7.9m of the total GGR, with land-based sports betting adding $589,920.
Diamond Joe Worth had the highest market share of the month, followed by the Wild Rose Jefferson at 16.7%. Wild Rose Clinton had the third highest market share of the month at 12.9%.
