Online gambling operator Mansion has expanded an existing partnership with Playtech to support the launch of its Casino.com and Mansioncasino.com brands in Ontario.
Under the deal, Playtech’s IMS platform will provide a complete online backend solution to both Mansion’s brands in the Canadian province.
Mansion and Playtech have been working together for a number of years across a host of markets and extended this partnership in January 2020 by a further five years.
“Ontario reinforces our focus on expanding our regulated footprint across global markets,” Mansion’s group president and chairman Chris Block said. “Mansion is confident that our Casino.com and Mansioncasino.com brands will be successful in Ontario and will positively contribute to the regulated igaming market and promote a safe and responsible gaming experience to Ontarians.”
Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad added: “At Playtech, we are on a constant journey to expand into new markets and make our products available to new players.
“We are delighted to have launched with Mansion in Ontario, a key market for the gambling community and us. But, more importantly, this announcement demonstrates the strength of our partnership with Mansion, which we’re excited to evolve and further strengthen our partnership in the future.”
The news comes after it was also announced that online casino operator SpinAway will go live in Ontario via a partnership with Gaming Innovations Group (GiG).
SpinAway will operate in Ontario using the GiG platform, with players in the regulated market able to access a range of online casino games.
