The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) in the US has partnered safer gambling solution provider Mindway AI to strengthen its responsible gambling initiatives.
Under the strategic partnership, NCPG will integrate the Mindway AI Gamalyze solution into its ResponsiblePlay.org flagship responsible gambling website.
Designed to identify risky gambling behavior, Gamalyze draws insights from neuroimaging to provide personalized interventions to at-risk individuals. The NCPG says Gamalyze will allow it to access more engaging and actionable insights to improve its responsible gambling programs.
The current ResponsiblePlay.org site features information about how to gamble responsibly and where to get help for problem gambling.
NCPG and Mindway AI aiming to empower players
“Education plays a pivotal role in preventing gambling-related harm,” NCPG executive director Keith Whyte said. “The integration of Gamalyze into ResponsiblePlay.org will empower visitors with an innovative tool to help them make well-informed choices about their gambling behavior.”
Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard added: “We are thrilled to announce our exciting partnership with NCPG nationwide in the US. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to innovation in responsible gambling and our shared vision of creating a brighter future.
“Together, we will pave the way for industry transformation and redefine what’s possible. This partnership marks the beginning of a new era, and we’re ready to lead the way.”
Mindway AI expands its presence in gambling
The link-up with the NCPG represents the latest gambling-focused partnership for Mindway AI.
In May, it entered a relationship with gambling addiction treatment specialist AnonyMind. Mindway AI’s protection technology is being combined with AnonyMind’s expertise in treatment to create a solution for identifying and addressing at risk players.
Operators that integrate Mindway AI’s software will now have the option to provide players with access to AnonyMind’s counselling services. This will allow them to take proactive steps to prevent and treat addiction.
Mindway AI’s software is based on machine-learning algorithms in combination with human psychologists’ assessments to identify at-risk gambling behaviour.
Also this year, Mindway AI entered a collaboration with government relations firm Doura-Schawohl Consulting. This forms part of a wider effort to improve player protection measures in the US.
Doura-Schawohl Consulting is focusing on bringing a perspective on safer gambling policies in the US. Mindway AI is integrating its knowledge of neuroscience, AI and psychology into the partnership.
Although primarily benefiting a North America audience, the deal includes work in the sports betting and online casino spaces farther afield.
