Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has announced the appointment of Tammi Barlow to the role of director of corporate social responsibility.
Barlow has 10 years of experience in corporate responsibility and responsible gaming roles, including various positions with Caesars Entertainment, William Hill and International Game Technology (IGT).
In her new role, Barlow will head RSI’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which will include the implementation of the company’s responsible gaming campaigns.
Barlow will also take charge of promoting RSI’s diversity, equity and environmental initiatives, which will involve governance efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
“As legal online gaming continues to expand across the country, it is critical that our industry’s customers and employees are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to help ensure safe and fun gambling experiences,” said Richard Schwartz, chief executive officer of RSI.
“Tammi is a highly experienced executive with a demonstrated history of developing successful responsible gaming programs. RSI remains focused on being at the forefront of this important topic and we are proud to further our commitment to serving as a good corporate citizen with Tammi’s addition to the team.”
Barlow will report to Laura McAllister Cox, RSI’s chief compliance officer, who joined RSI earlier this year.
“I have long admired RSI for its thought leadership and continuous improvement approach to responsible gaming efforts,” said Ms. Barlow.
“Together with our partners in the industry, I look forward to educating RSI’s stakeholders on the risks and rewards associated with gambling and empowering them to make smart decisions that create a betting gaming industry and better society.”
Yesterday, Rush Interactive was announced as the new betting partner of Magic City Jai-Alai, allowing it to offer online betting on the sport.
