The Oneida Indian Nation has launched its latest sportsbook, The Lounge with Caesars Sports at Yellow Brick Road Casino.
The sportsbook will be the largest in New York and opened on 4 September, a day before the start of the National Football League’s regular season.
Yellow Brick Road Casino is the third Oneida Indian Nation venue to feature a sportsbook, after Turning Stone Resort in Verona and Point Place Casino in Bridgeport both opened on August 1.
All three sportsbooks are Caesars-branded and powered by Scientific Games’s OpenSports product suite. Like the other Oneida Indian Nation casinos, Yellow Brick Road Casino is located east of Syracuse
New York’s gaming commission approved regulations governing sports betting in the state on June 10. The Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady became the first licensed venue in New York to accept legal sports bets on 16 July.
The sportsbook’s grand opening event featured New York state senator Bob Antonacci, Madison County chairman John Becker, and president of the Central–Northern New York Trades Council Greg Lancette.
The Lounge with Caesars Sports is an almost 9,000 sq. ft venue featuring a 32-foot LED screen and more than 35 additional televisions. The venue will also feature six private “fan caves.”
